Dr Jef Willems MD is a paediatric intensivist at the University Hospital Ghent, Belgium. He trained in paediatric medicine at the University Hospital in Ghent and in paediatric intensive care medicine at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK.
His main research topics are epidemiology of infectious diseases and antibiotic stewardship in critically ill children.
He is co-founder and president of the Belgian Paediatric Intensive Care Society.
